Since the Broadway Mansions Hotel Shanghai was appointed as one of the official hotels for the World Expo Shanghai 2010 in April 2010, it hosted 121 VIP teams from different provinces and cities, which also won it the honor of “Outstanding Group during the World Expo Shanghai 2010”.
On April 25th, 2006, the Terrace on 18F welcomed the special participants of the 19th Meeting of APEC Ocean Resources Protection Task Force from 21 nations.
In 2001, Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan, left his signature on the 19F Banquet Hall.
On May 2nd, 1997, Rong Yiren, then appointed Vice-President signed his name on the VIP Visitors Book on the 18th floor at his 80’s birthday.
On October 23rd, 1989, Zhu Rongji, then appointed Mayor of Shanghai entertained the Mayor of Istanbul (the Republic of Turkey) and his party in the banquet hall on the 19th floor.
On March 1st, 1987, Jiang Zemin, then appointed Mayor of Shanghai, entertained the Crown Prince of Thailand in the banquet hall on the 1st floor
In 1981, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia arrived at the Terrace on 18F.
On September 17, 1973, accompanied by Premier Zhou, the French Premier Georges Pompidou overlooked the whole area from Broadway Mansions.
On the noon of October 10th, 1971, Premier Zhou came with the Empire of Ethiopia Emperor Haile Selassiel to the balcony on the 18th floor.
